Quebec’s artisan cheesemakers stood out again this year at the prestigious international World Cheese Awards competition, which took place on November 2 at the Convention Center Wales in Newport, Wales.

Last year our cheese makers won nine prizes and this year thirteen cheeses won recognitions ranging from SUPER GOLD to bronze in their category. A fine harvest that helps develop the image and reputation of Quebec cheeses on the international scene.

A true global cheese event, the World Cheese Awards brings together cheesemakers, retailers, buyers, consumers and food commentators from around the world to judge nearly 4,500 cheeses from more than 40 countries.
